MRT has been involved since the very beginning of the project. Thanks to its cutting-edge, multidisciplinary engineering and design expertise, as well as its technical resources, MRT has supported WISAMO throughout its development.
Initially, MRT evaluated the technical solution developed by the two inventors. A first wing was then designed and integrated onto a pleasure boat specially modified to accommodate it.
The second phase consisted of designing and testing a wing on a ro-ro ferry under representative operating conditions. MRT then collaborated in the design of a large wing, thereby contributing to the upscaling of the solution.
MRT is continuing its research and development activities in this field in order to provide ever more relevant responses to the technical and environmental challenges of tomorrow.
